Introducing this special paddle series to feature some of Sharpsburg’s best businesses and organizations! Each installment will be sponsored by a local establishment offering a free item or service in their wheelhouse. Come experience all the magic this borough has to offer.
Next up – start the day with a morning paddle on the Allegheny River then head to Redhawk Coffee Roasters for coffee and scones.
Explore Sharpsburg Waterways
We provide the kayak, paddle, safety vest, and a brief paddle talk to get you started. Enjoy an hour of self-guided paddle with other kayak enthusiasts. Explore the river and check out Six Mile Island or 62nd Street Bridge from the seat of a kayak. Watch wildlife emerge as the sun starts to rise. Bring friends or make new ones. Great for beginners and casual paddlers!
FREE Drip Coffee and Scone – after you kayak
Afterwards, we’ll head to Redhawk Coffee Roasters in downtown Sharpsburg for a free drip coffee from Redhawk’s gourmet roasters and a delicious scone from local Scone Ranger.
