Fall Lake Paddle

Join us for a paddle on North Park Lake to take in the Fall season.  

Trip Leaders: Our trained Excursionists and Volunteer Trip Leaders will help get you outfitted then onto the water. They will be out on the lake to assist as needed. 

Activity level: Beginner (some paddling experience recommended): This is a slow-paced trip on North Park Lake. We’ll cover basic instructions on land and then head on the water. Paddlers must be 16 years of age or more to participate. 

What to Bring: While no one plans to tip a boat, kayaking is considered a “get wet” sport. You might get dripped on or splashed occasionally. It is best to wear clothes that dry quickly. Wear comfortable shoes that could potentially get wet. 

• No drugs or alcohol are permitted prior to or during your rental
• Follow all directions of Venture Outdoors staff
• PFDs (lifejackets) are required to be worn properly at all times during your rental
• Wet suits are provided and required to be worn for the duration of the rental
  • Water temperatures below 60 degrees can cause hypothermia quickly in the event of a capsize. Wetsuits are a great way to mitigate the onset of hypothermia.

    • While we do our best to dry the gear between trips some equipment may be damp from a prior outing. All gear is disinfected between uses.

Distance: Paddlers are free to explore the lake for the duration of the trip

Starting Location: This event will be launched from our North Park location. Parking can be found in the boathouse parking lot. The map link is listed below.

Please purchase one ticket PER PERSON.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to ensure that the trip gets underway on time. Paddlers arriving more than 15 minutes past the start of the trip will need to reschedule for a later trip.

Dress for the weather (Venture Outdoors trips proceed rain or shine!), bring water and wear comfortable closed toe shoes. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you are physically able to undertake the activity described above.
