March Outdoor Leadership Training

We’re excited to have you join us for Outdoor Leadership Training! This comprehensive session covers essential topics such as trip planning, outdoor safety, DEI, and leadership and teaching styles, empowering trip leaders with the confidence and skills to lead outdoor excursions geared towards adults.

Sandwiches, coffee, fruit, and light snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own beverages and food if you prefer.

Please note there are a couple of hours of pre-work to be completed in advance, which will be emailed to you.

The training will take place in person at the Venture Outdoors Office located at 317 E Carson St #160, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. Weather permitting, we’ll also enjoy an afternoon walk covering 1-2 miles on flat trails and sidewalks
