Mingo Creek Covered Bridge Hike

August 11 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free – $20.00

Mingo Creek Covered Bridge Hike

Join Trip Leader Sheri Dutter for a leisurely 3-4 mile hike along the beautiful Mingo Creek Trail. This easy-paced, well-maintained, relatively flat, and paved trail offers a perfect opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty of Mingo Creek County Park.

Our journey will include stops at two historic covered bridges, the Ebenezer Covered Bridge, originally built to span a different location, this bridge was moved to the park in 1977 to make way for I-70 and the Henry Covered Bridge, constructed in 1841. In addition to the bridges, we’ll also visit the historic Henry House, a brick house built in the early 1800s that was owned by a participant in the Whiskey Rebellion of the late 1700s and occupied until the 1960s.

Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the history and scenic beauty of Mingo Creek Park. Join us for a memorable hike and a chance to see these unique landmarks up close.
