Summer Camp: Outdoor Leadership
Rising Grades 10th – 12th

Day Camp Monday-Wednesday | Jun 23 – 25 | 9am – 4pm | North Park
Additional FREE training days for exceptional leaders June 26 – 27

Teens: The skills mastered during our Outdoor Leadership camp are what recruiters are looking for. Learn to lead and facilitate successful outdoor activities experientially – nothing theoretical here. You’ll be kayaking, fishing, and outdoors-ing your way to a useful new skill set. Outdoor Leadership camp will make your resume or college application POP!

Those who successfully complete this 3-day Outdoor Leadership camp will be invited to continue to grow your network as a volunteer co-counselor for our day camps throughout the summer season. Training for qualifying Teen Volunteers immediately follows camp on 6/26-6/27.

Venture Outdoors Summer Camps

At Venture Outdoors Summer Camps, your camper is guaranteed time outdoors and away from screens. In addition to their qualifying backgrounds, our Outdoor Educators go through an extensive two-week training on outdoor activities, facilitation, behavior-modification, First Aid, and CPR. Your camper will be encouraged and supported to participate in all activities, but they can decide for themselves their interest in each challenge. We follow a Challenge By Choice approach.

Financial assistance: Please fill out this form and we’ll contact you if financial assistance is available. Completion of this form does not automatically enroll your camper in summer camp, nor does it guarantee that we will be able to offer financial assistance at any point.

Next Steps: Upon registration you’ll receive a camper wellness packet. Prior to each camp you’ll receive a schedule of activities so you can prepare you camper. If any schedule or location changes occur, we’ll notify you by email and/or phone.
