Summer Camp: Hooked on Fishing
Rising Grades 3rd – 5th

Day Camp Monday-Friday | August 11 – August 15 | 9am – 4pm | North Park

Take a DEEP DIVE into North Park Lake with a full week of fishing! Participants will learn to use and maintain fishing equipment, practice tying knots, explore aquatic ecosystems in the lake and creeks, identify fish species, and more. Campers will also get to explore the lake on kayaks with our staff excursionists.

Venture Outdoors Summer Camps

At Venture Outdoors Summer Camps, your camper is guaranteed time outdoors and away from screens. In addition to their qualifying backgrounds, our Outdoor Educators go through an extensive two-week training on outdoor activities, facilitation, behavior-modification, First Aid, and CPR. Your camper will be encouraged and supported to participate in all activities, but they can decide for themselves their interest in each challenge. We follow a Challenge By Choice approach.

Financial assistance: Please fill out this form and we’ll contact you if financial assistance is available. Completion of this form does not automatically enroll your camper in summer camp, nor does it guarantee that we will be able to offer financial assistance at any point.

Next Steps: Upon registration you’ll receive a camper wellness packet. Prior to each camp you’ll receive a schedule of activities so you can prepare you camper. If any schedule or location changes occur, we’ll notify you by email and/or phone.
