Voegtly Cemetery Urban Hike

Join amateur historian and former librarian, Meghan S, in exploring this eerie and overgrown graveyard, rich in atmosphere and 169 years of haunting history. This hike will have a Penn Brewery start, where we can gather and use the facilities before climbing the city steps to Voegtly Cemetery in Troy Hill. After leaving the cemetery, we will take stairs up the back end of Gardner Hill to Spring Hill.

Activity level: Beginner to Intermediate (There will be some climbing of city steps to access the cemetery)

What to Bring: Autumn is Pittsburgh can be very fickle! Please make sure wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. Be sure to check the weather for temperature and precipitation. Please bring water and a snack.
