Winter Hike Series: First Day Hike at Riverview Park
Kick off the new year surrounded by nature! Whether you’ve explored this trail before or it’s your first time, we invite you to join us for a family-friendly afternoon hike in Riverview Park. The hike begins and ends at the Visitor’s Center and is led by Mara, an experienced trip leader with over ten years of experience sharing the gift of time spent outside with others. As a breast cancer survivor, Mara deeply understands the healing power of nature and fosters inclusive adventures for all abilities. Her guidance will inspire and encourage you every step of the way.
Activity Level: Level 1 – Relaxed

Starting Location: Outside the Riverview Park Visitors Center (1 Riverview Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15214)
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to ensure that the trip gets underway on time. Dress for the weather (Venture Outdoors trips proceed rain or shine!), bring water and wear comfortable closed toe shoes. By reserving a ticket, you acknowledge that you are physically able to undertake the activity described above
