Dravo Cemetery Bike Ride

Join us for a scenic 12-mile bike ride along the Great Allegheny Passage to the historic Dravo Cemetery! This out-and-back journey is perfect for cycling enthusiasts of all levels, offering a blend of beautiful landscapes and local history.

Dravo Cemetery, dating back to 1812, holds 708 graves, with only 81 identified. Among the interred are ten war veterans, including nine Civil War veterans and one from the War of 1812.

This relaxed paced ride takes place on smooth, crushed limestone with no signification elevation change. We will enjoy a stop at the cemetery to explore and share some historical insights. Please ensure your bike is in good working condition before the ride. Helmets are required for all participants.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to ensure that the trip gets underway on time. Dress for the weather (Venture Outdoors trips proceed rain or shine!), bring water and wear comfortable closed toe shoes.
