ECS Half Day Care Adventure with Venture Outdoors: Mapigation

Join the Venture Outdoors team for an adventure-filled half day of exploration! Learn how to read a map, use a compass, and geocache along the trails in Frick Park. We’ll use handheld GPS units to navigate to hidden “caches” (treasure boxes) throughout the park, which will reveal clues and facts so we can learn as we go along. The best part? If your child enjoys geocaching with us, you can download the free Geocaching app on your phone and geocache anywhere in the world as a family.

Dismissal procedures: ECS will dismiss your child to the Venture Outdoors activity within ECS. At the conclusion of the half day adventure, a Venture Outdoors instructor will bring children onto the rear lot for pick up. Pick up between 3:20 – 3:30.
