Summer Camp: Cycling through Summer

Grades 6th – 8th

Day Camp Monday-Friday | June 26 – 30 | 9am – 4pm | Millvale

Explore Pittsburgh on two-wheels! In Cycling through Summer, participants will ride the Three Rivers Heritage Trail from Millvale to the North Shore and beyond, while also learning the basics of bike care and maintenance, biking safety, and bike mechanics. Additional activities may include fishing, science experiments, and team-building games.

Over the course of the week, campers will bike daily for a minimum of 5 miles on city trails, which may include rides across bridges. Campers should have a basic competency with biking before attending camp. All campers are expected to participate in all activities. Campers are allowed to bring their own bikes, but bikes will also be available for use.

Campers are expected to follow behavior guidelines to ensure a welcoming and fun environment for all campers. Upon registration we’ll reach out to you via email with a packet of information and followup questions about your camper.

Financial assistance may be available. Please fill out this form and we’ll contact you if financial assistance is available for your child. Completion of this form does not automatically enroll your camper in summer camp, nor does it guarantee that we will be able to offer financial assistance at any point.
