Conserved by Allegheny Land Trust, Sycamore Island hosts a unique floodplain ecosystem. We’ll paddle from Verona to Sycamore Island where we’ll stop for some lunch. After lunch, we’ll talk about the island’s social and environmental history while our group explores the island by kayak and foot before paddling back to the start. Tandem kayaks are not available for this outing.
