PRIDE All Year Long

Nope, we didn’t change our logo this month just for Pride month. Our logo is actually rainbow all year logo to celebrate diversity outdoors everyday of the year. We also celebrate and support this diversity with regularly scheduled events like the Women and Nonbinary Mountain Biking Clinics, Pride Hikes, and Pride Paddles.

We’re able to serve the LQBTQIA+ community thanks to our inclusive staffing practices and culture of belonging that has made space for many queer people to join the Venture Outdoors team. We’ve got an amazing team that we’re proud to celebrate and support!

Get Outdoors for PRIDE

Join us for a series:

• Pride Paddle – Join Trip Leader Eli Shumaker (he/him) on a pleasant paddle along the Allegheny River with LGBTQIA friends and allies. This is a monthly meet up happening!
• Pride Outside -This is an inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ individuals to spend time outdoors, find community, AND build your trekking skills. Led by volunteer Trip Leader, Bili O’Hara (they/them).
• Women & Nonbinary Mountain Bike Clinic – Learn effective riding skills and techniques to improve your riding experience within the support of a women and nonbinary riders only group.
