Minors

Minors onboarding for Boathouse or Dockside Crew roles:

All candidates less than 18 years of age require must obtain a work permit to begin work. To obtain a work permit, visit the office at the candidate’s school to obtain an application (or print and complete the application below).

Employees returning from previous seasons:

Please review, update, and upload the following as needed. Existing information will be utilized if not updated, excluding any expired certifications, clearances, or IDs. These forms can be found linked above

  • Complete and upload the recent year hiring packet
  • Review Kayak Pittsburgh Handbook
  • Update certifications as needed (generally every 2 years)
  • Update clearances as needed (generally every 5 years)
  • Upload any IDs to replace any that have expired since last employment
