Unlikely Hikers was the main inspiration for this Blog post. This account was created by Jenny Bruso who identifies as “femme, queer, fat, mid-thirties, writer, Unlikely Hiker,” on her website. Her main goal is to create spaces for everyone to feel comfortable with getting outside.
2. @theventureoutproject
The Venture Out Project is based in New England and the Pacific Northwest. At Venture Out, they organize hiking trips for queer and transgender people looking to get outside. They also provide transgender inclusion workshops for anyone looking to learn more about the queer community.
3. @Sheonthefly
Who said fishing was only for men? Not these amazing women from @Sheonthefly that share their catch of the day!
4. @browngirlsclimb
Brown Girls Climb creates spaces for women of color to feel accepted and part of the climbing community. Very inspiring. Check out there website here!

Latino Outdoors is an organization that focuses on cultura y familia as part of their outdoor narrative. Their aim is to ensure that the history, heritage, and leadership are being represented.
