We are super psyched for Summer! With all that is going on for Venture Outdoors this year including three Kayak Pittsburgh locations, dozens of Summer Camps, an expanded communications team, and finding our next President & CEO, we’re bringing on a ton of new talent.

Youth Programs

An Outdoor Educator is a part-time employee who leads or assists on outdoor trips and environmental lessons primarily with youth. Work on our community programs, or focus directly on our Summer Camps.

Outdoor Educator – $15/hr
Summer Camp Outdoor Educator – $15/hr

Communications Assistant

Are you interested in videos, photos, social media, and getting outdoors? Get paid to get go on outdoor trips and plan social media to represent the Venture Outdoors mission and work.

Communications Assistant – $15/hr

Kayak Pittsburgh | North Park

Spend your summer outdoors at North Park’s boathouse and lake. Either work the front of house to check folks in or hang dockside to launch boats and assist paddlers. Paddle training included.

Boathouse Crew – $12/hr
Dockside Crew – $14/hr

Kayak Pittsburgh | Sharpsburg

Spend your summer on Allegheny River at Sharpsburg’s Kayak Pittsburgh location. Either work the checkin process or hang dockside to launch boats and assist paddlers. Paddle training included.

Boathouse Crew – $12/hr
Dockside Crew – $14/hr

Kayak Pittsburgh Programs

Be the point person for proper equipment, instruction, and on-water guidance while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all paddlers on group trips across various locations.
