Bald Eagle Bike Ride

Enjoy a beautiful ride along the Monongahela River starting in the South Side and heading towards Homestead on a section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail that is paved and fairly flat. We’ll stop to learn a bit about the Bald Eagles that have lived in Hays Woods since 2013 and use binoculars to get a good view of the nest. Hopefully we will enjoy a Bald Eagle sighting as well!

A bike and helmet are required for the outing.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to ensure that the trip gets underway on time. Dress for the weather (Venture Outdoors trips proceed rain or shine!), bring water and wear comfortable closed toe shoes.
