Full Strawberry Moon & Solstice Hike

Join us for a sunset and night hike in Frick Park to celebrate the Full Strawberry Moon as well as the Summer Solstice. Led by nature-based therapist and Volunteer Trip Leader, Sara Feeley, this 3-mile guided hike will offer mindfulness practices to help you connect with nature and find calm. Experience the longest day of the year in a peaceful setting, surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.

Headlamps will be provided to all participants.

Difficulty Level: Level 2/3 – Easy/Moderate
Distance: 3-4 miles
Starting Location: Outside the Frick Environmental Center (2005 Beechwood Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15217)

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to ensure that the trip gets underway on time. Dress for the weather (Venture Outdoors trips proceed rain or shine!), bring water and wear comfortable closed toe shoes.
