Full Sturgeon Full Moon Sunset Hike

Enjoy a beautiful and scenic hike in the largest privately protected conservation area in Allegheny County. The Hollow was the site of a thriving industrial area over 100 years ago that vanished after a fire and is the home of many mysterious tales. We will have the opportunity to check out some of the ruins and climb the Enchanted Staircase while enjoying a beautiful summer evening and sunset.

The first and last mile of this out and back hike will be fairly flat and then we will encounter a challenging climb uphill. We will cover approximately 4 miles on this moderately challenging trail and will encounter trails that may have uneven terrain, rocks, roots and muddy sections.
