Explore the beauty of Enlow Fork Natural Area on this 3-4 mile moderate paced walk during peak wildflower season. Located just 40 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, this hidden gem features a stream valley with lush slopes adorned by a vibrant display of spring wildflowers.
The valley is known for its array of spring wildflowers on lower slopes and bottomlands, including unique species found in only a few southwestern Pennsylvania counties. Flowers that we are likely to see include twinleaf, dwarf larkspur, toadshade trillium, large-leaved waterleaf and the striking, blue-eyed Mary. Let’s see how many wildflowers we can find during this hike!
