Goat Fest Hike

Join Friends of the South Side Park to learn about the fascinating history of the 65 acre Park bordering the South Side Flats, Slopes and Arlington neighborhoods. We will learn about the old St. Clair Incline that burned down in 1935, the former ice rink and the former Sankey Brick Factory among many other historical uses of the park. We will talk about the important restoration work that is taking place with the help of goats and learn about future improvements to the park.

This hike is occurring during Goat Fest with lots of activities including live music, a petting zoo, food trucks, goats in action and more so check those out before or after your hike!

Meeting Location: 21st and Josephine St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203, in the lot under the Mission street bridge
