Little Boston Trail Ride
June 30 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free – $20.00Little Boston Trail Ride
Join us for a leisurely biking excursion along the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP). Our journey begins under the Boston Bridge, starting from GAP mile marker 128.
The Great Allegheny Passage, a 150-mile trail stretching from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Cumberland, Maryland, offers a beautiful car-free route for cyclists and hikers. When combined with the C&O Canal towpath, it forms a 335-mile pathway connecting Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C.
Following the path alongside the Youghiogheny River, the trail provides a beautiful setting with its tree-lined canopy and a flat, crushed limestone surface. Our excursion promises a relaxed pace, covering approximately 10 miles round trip with minimal elevation gain, allowing time to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
A bike and helmet are required for the outing.
