North Side Arts Tour & Banjo Night

Starting in Allegheny Commons across from North Side Elks Lodge, Veteran Trip Leader Mara, will lead hikers on a brisk walk to explore beautiful public art installations throughout the North Side neighborhood.

We’ll absorb the energetic old Pittsburgh charm of Central Northside as we traverse the areas around Sampsonia Way, Allegheny Commons, and the Children’s Museum in search of public art, including murals, statuary, building reliefs, mythological creatures, and the grandest of them all, Randyland. We will end in front of the Elks Lodge where we will have the option to check out The Pittsburgh Banjo Club’s weekly classic event, “Banjo Night.”
