Summer Bird Hike

Join us as we search the Frick Park trails for birds with Three Rivers Birding Club’s Member and Outings Coordinator, Stephen Thomas. This walk is designed for new or novice birders and those interested in learning about Pittsburgh birds. We hope to see a dozen or more urban resident birds, such as American robins, blue jays, song & house sparrows, woodpeckers, and even a red-eyed vireo or American redstart in migration.

The one-mile walk will last approximately 2 hours. Frick Park trails are unpaved and have elevation changes. Bring your own binoculars or a pair will be provided for you.

Starting Location: In front of the Frick Environmental Center – 2005 Beechwood Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15217

If we cancel the event (only due to extreme circumstances), please reach out to us if you would like a refund or your ticket price can be donated to support our programs. If you can no longer attend the event, we are not able to provide a refund. You may however transfer your ticket. Thank you for understanding.
