Bring your canine companion for a social hike through Roaring Run Natural Area in Forbes State Forest with volunteer Trip Leader, Eric Steinbring. We’ll start out by letting the dogs get to know each other, and then we’ll enjoy 5 miles of moderately paced hiking. Some trails will be steep and rocky and we will hike at a steady pace. There may not be water along the trail, so bring enough for yourself and your dog. Off-leash time is included in the outing. The group will meet at the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail parking area off Fire Tower Road. There are no bathroom facilities available during the outing, so please plan accordingly.
