Full Worm Moon Hike

Experience an evening at Schenley Park, as we explore the natural beauty of this park as the sun sets and we search for a view of the full Worm Moon. Native Americans dubbed this final full moon of winter the worm moon, inspired by the trails left by worms in the freshly thawed ground. This event invites participants to walk along moderately paced, roughly 3-mile trails through uneven terrain.

Headlamps will be provided for your convenience and safety.

Starting Location: Bartlett Playground (Corner of Hobart St and Bartlett St, Pittsburgh, PA 15217)

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to ensure that the trip gets underway on time. Dress for the weather (Venture Outdoors trips proceed rain or shine!), bring water and wear comfortable closed toe shoes.
