International Women’s Day Hike

Celebrate International Women’s Day with Venture Outdoors on a guided group hike through Frick Park. International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women globally, while also advocating for the rights of women.

Expect to cover 3-4 miles at a moderate pace, navigating hills while the group stays unified. As we enjoy the sunset and experience the park in a new way in the dark, we’ll reflect on women’s accomplishments worldwide and the ongoing push for gender equity.

Headlamps will be provided for your convenience and safety.

Starting Location: Outside the Frick Environmental Center (2005 Beechwood Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15217)

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to ensure that the trip gets underway on time. Dress for the weather (Venture Outdoors trips proceed rain or shine!), bring water and wear comfortable closed toe shoes.
