Pride Outside Hike

Are you a member of the LGBTQIA+ Community looking to meet others and spend time hiking in the woods of Western PA? Join Volunteer Trip Leader, Bili O’Hara (they/them), as they lead monthly hikes while celebrating the joy of queer identity.  

Participants will receive laminated maps and collectively choose their preferred trail loop, gaining skills in navigation and map reading along the way. The chosen route will be no longer than 3 miles.

The starting point offers amenities such as a porta-potty and a pavilion with picnic tables. Feel free to bring snacks or lunch to enjoy a post-hike gathering.

Difficulty Level: Level 2/3 – Easy/Moderate

Starting Location: Duff Park Eastern Parking Area, Murrysville, PA 15632

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to ensure that the trip gets underway on time. Dress for the weather (Venture Outdoors trips proceed rain or shine!), bring water and wear comfortable closed toe shoes. By reserving a ticket, you acknowledge that you are physically able to undertake the activity described above.
