Spring Equinox Sunset Hike

Let’s welcome the first day of spring together on this guided hike through Frick Park. Expect to cover about 3.5 miles at a moderate pace, navigating hills while the group stays together. The first mile of the hike will be a good amount of climbing with 300 feet of elevation gain, but the remainder of the hike will be mostly downhill. We’ll make a stop with the chance to see a resident Eastern screech owl while enjoy the sunset and experiencing the park in a new way in the dark.

The hike will end in the dark and headlamps will be provided if they are needed.

Distance: 3.5 miles
Starting Location: Lower Frick Lot (Entrance off of Hutchinson St, near the soccer fields)

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to ensure that the trip gets underway on time. Dress for the weather (Venture Outdoors trips proceed rain or shine!), bring water and wear comfortable closed toe shoes.
